On April 29, 2024, Senate and House of Representatives leaders reached an agreement to reauthorize Federal Aviation Administration funding for the next five years. Previously, the House passed their version of the bill in July 2023, but the Senate was held up due to debates about increasing the pilot retirement age, including flight simulators in qualifying as a portion of flight training, and providing special security at airports for certain members of Congress and other officials.

Established by Robert “Bob” Bowen, this new $1M endowed Prize was announced during last month’s CCC Gala to benefit the ż Education and Research Foundation during the Annual ż Convention in San Diego.

Kathy ascended to the position during the ż Annual Convention in San Diego, CA. She serves as Safety Director for the Mortensen Denver Operating Group and focuses on the planning, development, coordination and administration of safety and health programs within the organization.
The ż of America Board of Directors approved the Policy Statement on Digital Means and Methods to support initiatives that standardize how digital information is created, transmitted, and permitted for use in construction.
At the ż Annual Convention in San Diego, CA, the Highway and Transportation Division by acclamation elected Amy Hall as Chair for 2024-2025. Amy is the Owner of Armstrong Steel Erectors, Inc. and a past president of the Ohio Contractors Association.
